Scentwork is a mentally enriching, low impact sport which harnesses a dogs natural instinct to sniff, search & solve! This strengthens the bond between dog and handler while providing a fun and rewarding outlet for natural behaviours. Dogs are trained to detect particular odours & indicate to their handler when they have found the source. Our classes focus on building the dogs confidence & problem solving skills while encouraging calm, focused behaviour. Scentwork taps into a dogs natural instincts making it suitable for dogs of all breeds, ages and abilities, Including reactive or anxious dogs, as they work individually in a controlled environment. For handlers, Scentwork classes teach how to read their dogs body language, lead skills & support their dog without interference. Pricing includes the supply of a Scentwork starter kit for each participant.
